Questions we get asked
The questions that come up most often. General ones are answered here; the rest are grouped by the work they relate to and answered on the page for that service. If yours is not here, telephone the workshop and ask.
General questions
When are you open?
We are open Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:00. Closed on bank holidays. How do I book my vehicle in?
Telephone the garage on 07935 326377, or send a booking request from the booking page with the make, model and what the vehicle needs. Nothing is set in the diary until we have spoken to you and agreed a day to bring it in.Do I need to know what is wrong with my vehicle?
No. Tell us what it is doing — the noise, the warning light, when it happens and what has changed — and finding the cause is our job. The more you can describe, the quicker we can start in the right place. Will I know what it costs before the work is done?
Yes. Nothing is carried out until you have been told what it will come to and have agreed to it. Where the price depends on what we find once the vehicle is here, what you get is an estimate rather than a fixed price, and if what we find changes the picture we stop and telephone you before carrying on.How can I pay?
We accept Cash, bank transfer, credit card and debit card. Can I message you rather than call?
Yes. The garage telephone number, 07935 326377, also receives WhatsApp messages, and the enquiry form on the contact page comes straight to the garage. For anything urgent, telephoning is the quickest way to reach us.

Still not sure?
Tell us the make, model and what you have noticed. We would rather talk it through than have you guess which heading it belongs under.
